
Dr. Mihir Pandya is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anaesthesia at Pramukhswami Medical College, Bhaikaka University. He is actively involved in clinical anaesthesia, postgraduate teaching, academic activities, and research.
After completing his internship, Dr. Pandya worked as a Chief Medical Officer (CMO), gaining valuable experience in clinical practice and patient care. He subsequently pursued postgraduate training in Anaesthesiology, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for his academic performance.
With a keen interest in the broader aspects of healthcare, Dr. Pandya has undertaken several certificate courses, including Medical Law, Palliative Care, Geriatric Palliative Care, and Paediatric Palliative Care. These additional qualifications reflect his commitment to holistic, ethical, and patient-centred healthcare, particularly in caring for patients with complex and life-limiting illnesses.
Dr. Pandya is actively engaged in medical research and has contributed to research publications in indexed national and international journals. His academic interests include anaesthesia, perioperative care, palliative care, and medical education. He is also involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
