Dr S. Metilda Florence is an Associate Professor in the Department of Networking and Communications at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She has over 25 years of teaching experience. Dr. Metilda earned her M.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering with distinction and completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She has published more than 60 research papers in reputable international journals and conferences and holds 6 Indian patents. Her research contributions have been recognized with several “Best Paper” awards at international conferences. Dr. Metilda’s primary areas of research include Video Processing, Image Processing, the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. She is an active member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI).
