My career in technology spans over 13 years, during which I have been driven by a deep passion for FinTech and for using Cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve complex problems and innovate across industries. I started my journey at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where my strong technical background earned me an opportunity to be sent to the United States. This marked the beginning of an exciting path that led to key roles, including a contracting opportunity with the leading retail company, Kroger, and eventually to my current position at Fiserv, a global leader in financial services technology.
Throughout my professional journey, I have always sought to apply cutting-edge technologies to enhance business outcomes. My expertise lies in AI, cloud computing, and the development of innovative financial solutions. At Fiserv, I currently serve as a Software Development Engineering Advisor, where I have had the chance to lead several high-impact initiatives that leverage AI and other advanced technologies to drive business transformation.
One of the key projects I’ve worked on at Fiserv involves the development of SoftPOS (Software Point-of-Sale) solutions for iPhone and Android platforms in multiple regions, including the United States, Asia Pacific, and LATAM. These solutions have enabled businesses to process payments seamlessly via mobile devices, allowing small and medium-sized businesses to thrive in an increasingly digital economy. I was instrumental in the launch of Tap to Pay on iPhone through the CloverGo App, a groundbreaking solution that empowers business owners to accept contactless payments with ease. Additionally, I played a significant role in creating the Fiserv SDK, which supports enterprise merchants and has resulted in increased gross transaction volumes.
Beyond SOFTPOS, I have played a key role in developing cloud migration tools and cloud operations monitoring solutions that enhance the efficiency of cloud infrastructures. These tools have been instrumental in simplifying the migration process and optimizing the monitoring and management of cloud environments, ensuring smooth and effective operations for our clients. I have also contributed to the creation and implementation of AI-powered chatbots. These chatbots have significantly improved customer service by using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms to provide real-time responses to customer queries.
Throughout my career, I’ve remained focused on solving real-world challenges with innovative technology, whether it be streamlining payment systems or enhancing customer interactions through AI. My contributions have been recognized multiple times at Fiserv, including receiving the prestigious Living Proof award for my work on the Apple Tap to Pay and AI chatbot initiatives. These accolades reflect my ongoing commitment to delivering high-impact, results-driven solutions.
Another milestone in my career has been my research into customer loyalty and fraud detection, two areas where AI plays a crucial role. I’ve published multiple papers on these subjects, one of which is “Leveraging AI for Predictive Analytics in Customer Loyalty Programs”. This paper explores how AI can analyze customer data to build personalized experiences that foster loyalty and drive revenue.
In addition to that, my research on fraud detection using AI has had a profound impact in the financial services space. In my paper, “AI-Powered Fraud Detection in Financial Services” I explored the use of machine learning algorithms to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions in real time. As financial transactions move increasingly into digital spaces, my work has focused on creating predictive models that can detect anomalies, assess risks, and reduce losses, helping financial institutions mitigate fraud and improve security.
