I completed my MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, Kerala, in 2018. Following my undergraduate training, I worked as a Medical Officer in the government healthcare sector for two years, gaining exposure to public healthcare services. I subsequently pursued my MD in Forensic Medicine at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh, which I completed in 2025. During my postgraduate training at GMCH Chandigarh, I undertook my thesis research titled “Comparison of Completeness of ICD-10 Coding of Medicolegal Deaths Before and After the Implementation of History-Taking Proforma – A Two-Year Study.” The study evaluated the completeness of ICD-10 coding in medicolegal deaths and assessed the impact of implementing a structured history-taking proforma on the quality and completeness of coding. Through this research, I explored the importance of systematic history taking and accurate documentation in improving the quality of medicolegal data. I am currently working as a Senior Resident in the Department of Forensic Medicine at Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur, Kerala, where I am involved in forensic practice, teaching, and academic activities. My professional interests include forensic research, academic medicine, medicolegal documentation, and improving evidence-based practices in forensic medicine.
