Dr. Nigel Gonsalves (PT) is a Certified Diabetes Educator, Diabetic Rehabilitation Specialist, Physiotherapist, Researcher and Entrepreneur. He has been working with patients who have various ailments or complications or issues related to diabetes mellitus type 2 and it’s related conditions for over the past 8 years. He has done his Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Pune in 2016 with a GOLD MEDAL from the esteemed Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. He has completed his Masters of Physiotherapy in Neuroscience in 2018 from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Pune. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Allied Health Sciences at Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. He has authored various research articles, presented research papers at many national and International conferences. He has got a very keen interest in Diabetic Rehabilitation of individuals with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. He is currently working in his venture DIABETICO in order to empower India’s fight against Diabetes Mellitus. He has also authored a book titled ‘Path To Diabetes Mellitus Type 2’.
