Jui Keskar

Jui Keskar is a passionate problem-solver and inventor of JTremor3D, a patent-pending wearable tremor profiling device for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She is recipient of several prestigious awards including two national awards, namely, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ignited Mind Children Innovation and Creativity Award 2020, and Grand Award winner at IRIS National Fair 2020-21 (from Broadcom, Dept of Science and Tech, IRIS). She, along with the other winners, will represent India at the International Science and Engineering Fair, USA. She also received INSPIRE MANAK award (the flagship award from Dept Science and Tech) at the district level. Her innovation has been included in the United Nations Development Programme’s Grass Root Innovation Database (GRID). As part of the invention, she has also devised JTremor Index, an objective way to represent tremor profile of a Parkinson’s patient.

Earlier, Jui was also involved in a study to understand impact of Covid-19 lockdown on mental well-being of professionals, where some non-obvious insights were derived. She co-authored a research paper on the same, which got published in a peer-reviewed journal. As part of this study, she came up with JMI, an index to quantify mental well-being of a professional.

Jui’s technical interests include application of Science, Maths and Technology for societal well-being. She also loves dress styling and DIY. She is a student of 1Xth standard at The Orchid School, Pune.
