Dr. Nishith M.C is working as a regulatory officer in Drugs Control Administration, Government of Kerala. Now, he has more than 10 years of experience in the enforcement wing of Drugs Control Administration. He is also having experiences in teaching and industry.
He completed his B.Pharma and M.Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from University of Kerala and Ph.D from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore, Karnataka.
His areas of interests include Herbal Drugs and Traditional Medicines Regulations. He had presented 10 papers in various National/International conferences and 5 international publications in his credit. Also, attended as a resource person in various seminars and conferences. He is also a recipient of RULA International Awards, 2019 for the best researcher in Herbal Drug Regulatory Affairs.
He is also acting as a member of various professional bodies in the Country. He is General Secretary of Kerala State Drugs Control Enforcement Officers Association. He is a member of central governing council of All India Drugs Control Officers Confederation. He is an executive member of Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association-Kerala Branch. He is the Joint Secretary of Kerala Pharmacy Graduates Association (KPGA). He is one of the editorial board member of the National Journal “Pharmline”.
