
Dr. Priyanka Kamble is an Ayurvedic gynecologist and obstetrician who has dedicated her career to advancing women’s health through a unique blend of traditional wisdom and modern clinical practice. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) from A.P.M’s Sion Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai, under MUHS University, and later pursued her Master of Surgery (M.S.) in Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga (Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ayurveda) at Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College and Hospital, SCSVMV University. Her academic journey has been marked by commitment, perseverance, and an unshakable passion for improving women’s health outcomes.
Currently, Dr. Priyanka serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Strirog & Prasuti Tantra at APM’s Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Sion, Mumbai, where she is actively involved in teaching, research, and clinical practice. In this role, she not only imparts knowledge to budding Ayurvedic doctors but also mentors young researchers, instilling in them a spirit of scientific inquiry and a balanced approach to healthcare.
Her professional experience is diverse and enriching. Alongside her academic career, she has worked in various clinical and healthcare documentation roles that exposed her to both Indian and international medical systems. Her experience as a medical scribe and clinical documentation specialist for healthcare providers in the United States gave her valuable exposure to global healthcare standards, patient record systems, and multidisciplinary collaboration. This international experience enriched her perspective and sharpened her skills in medical communication, precision, and research documentation.
Dr. Priyanka’s contributions to research have been significant. She conducted a clinical trial on Pathya Amalakadi Kashaya in the management of Shweta Pradara (leucorrhoea), which demonstrated encouraging results with up to 76% overall symptom relief in patients. Her published research includes articles such as “An Ayurvedic Approach in the Management of Female Infertility Caused due to Uterine Factor” (International Journal of Ayurveda and Pharma Research, 2025) and “Effective Management of Artava Kshaya by Ayurveda Treatment: A Case Report” (Journal of Biological & Scientific Opinion, 2022). These works highlight her dedication to validating Ayurvedic treatments through evidence-based methods and making them relevant in today’s medical landscape.
She has also presented her work at numerous national and international conferences, including Kashyapi 2023, Vaikhari 2024, Baalajeevanam 2.0, Vishuddha 2024, and Sushrutee 2024, as well as several academic seminars and webinars. Through these forums, she has engaged with scholars and practitioners from across the country, sharing her insights and learning from diverse perspectives.
