I am Dr. G. Arthi, currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Noi Anugavidhi Ozhukkam at Sir Issac Newton Siddha College and Hospital. I completed my BSMS from Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre, Chennai, followed by a Doctor of Medicine in Siddha (M.D. Siddha) with a specialization in Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam (Siddha Pediatrics) from Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai. My academic and professional journey has been deeply centered on the specialized field of Siddha Pediatrics, where I focus on the traditional diagnosis, management, and holistic care of childhood diseases. Through the lens of Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam, I strive to integrate classical Siddha principles with evidence-based approaches to enhance pediatric health outcomes.
In addition to my specialization, I have a strong academic focus on Noi Anugavidhi Ozhukkam—a vital branch of Siddha medicine dedicated to the etiology, diagnosis, prevention, and management of diseases. I have also developed a keen interest in Research Methodology and Social & Preventive Medicine, understanding their essential role in strengthening the scientific foundation and community reach of Siddha medicine. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in teaching, clinical practice, research, and student mentorship, encouraging critical inquiry and ethical responsibility in the practice of traditional medicine. I have contributed to various academic forums and scientific publications, working towards bridging the gap between ancient Siddha wisdom and modern healthcare science.
It is a great honor to have been awarded the “International Research Star Award” by The International Society for Scientific Network Awards in recognition of my contributions to Siddha medicine. As a participant in the International Innovation Research and Academic Congress (IIRAC-2025), I look forward to sharing my insights, engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations, and advocating for the global recognition and scientific validation of Siddha Pediatrics and holistic healthcare.
