Amb. Dr. (Hon.) Usiabulu, Godsday Idanegbe, is a remarkable individual with a wealth of expertise and experience. Academic, development strategist, and humanitarian leader whose career spans academia, research, professional practice, and service to society. He embodies excellence in engineering, teaching, leadership, and humanitarian engagement, leveraging his expertise to address critical challenges in the oil and gas industry while fostering human capital and sustainable development. A true multidimensional leader, Amb Dr Usiabulu remains driven by his mission to apply modern engineering tools, leadership principles, and technological innovations to solve societal problems. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers, advancing sustainable energy solutions, and building interdisciplinary collaborations for national and global development. His influence, spanning 23 years, also extends into entrepreneurship, with business interests that include oil and gas, real estate, entertainment, fashion and Academic Research.
Educational Excellence: He holds a B.Sc. in Energy and Petroleum Studies from Novena University, Ogume, Nigeria. Two master’s degrees: An MSc. in Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and another MSc. in Environmental and Petroleum Technology Management from South America University, USA. Currently defending a PhD dissertation in Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the World Bank Africa Centre of Excellence for Oilfield Chemical Research, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and a PhD in Transformational Leadership in view from a Texas institution, United States of America. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Generic Studies from the United States of America.
Professional Affiliations: include membership in the Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPEI) and the Distinguished Fellow of the Africa Institute of Public Administration (DFAIAP), Ghana. Distinguished Fellow Nigerian Institute of Petroleum and Gas Engineers (FNIPetGE), Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers (NIPetE), Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE), Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE), Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP), Society of Disaster Management Volunteers Initiative (SDMVI), Young Foundation Line for Social Development (YFSD) Member Africa Society of Healthcare Professionals (ASHP), Member Africa Export Academy (AEA), Member, Association of Africa Public Speakers, etc.
Professional Training: Expanding his expertise into the technology domain, Ambassador Usiabulu is undergoing professional training in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration at KiawiTech IT Academy in Houston, Texas, USA. He has further diversified his skills through numerous professional certifications in Safety engineering, International leadership & cultural diplomacy, Project management, international Volunteerism, Peace & Conflict management and environmental management, Certified management Professional, Certified Public Administrator, certified Metal Health Professional, Certified Public Health Administrator, Certified Gas Tester, Certified Africa Climate Ambassador, etc, making him a versatile and multidisciplinary expert, from reputable local and international institutions.
Work Experience: Dr Godsday Usiabulu is the Director of Club-1000 at Crado World International Properties Limited, where he serves as the Business Development Strategist and Sales Consultant. Amb Godsday is the MD/CEO, Youthful Energy and Environmental Companion- a company with a special interest in energy and environmental systems. He is the award-winning Faculty Adviser and a lecturer at Novena University Ogume, and Joint Professional Training and Support (JPTS) now Unique Open University, teaching a wide range of courses, including petroleum geology, reservoir engineering, renewable energy, experimental physics, and Natural Gas engineering, as well as health, safety, and environment (HSE), etc, Amb. Usdiabulu is a training Provider and Facilitator with La Plage Meta Verve He (LPMV). He also serves as an Accredited Digital Facilitator and Global Digital Ambassador under the Africa Agenda 2063 initiative.
Leadership, Advocacy & Achievement: Dr Godsday is the state coordinator of the Young Foundation for Social Development Line (YFSD). He is a prolific speaker at both local and international conferences and conventions. Ambassador Usiabulu’s contributions extend beyond engineering into leadership and climate advocacy. He is a certified African Climate Ambassador, trained by Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and sponsored by the Egyptian government as a delegate to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) in 2022. He has received multiple Awards and commendations from SPE International. Distinguished Leadership Award from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Public Service Award by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Rivers State Youth Wing and several faith-based and humanitarian organisations. He has written and published several articles in reputable local and international journals. He is also a reviewer of books and periodicals for publishers in the United States, India and the United Kingdom. His research and scholarly contributions span energy transition, gas utilisation, climate change, and process optimisation, Oil and Gas production, which he has presented at both national and international platforms
Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Ambassador Usiabulu is deeply committed to faith and youth development. He serves as the Assistant Provincial Youth Pastor (Administration) with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Rivers Province 16 YAYA, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
