
Shagufta Bi is a dedicated researcher at IFTM University, Lodhipur Rajput, Delhi Road, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, where she did Ph.D. (Biotechnology) at the department of Biotechnology. Her work focuses on the green synthesis of palladium nanoparticles utilizing plant extracts, with particular emphasis on assessing their in-vivo applications for potential biomedical use. Through this research, she contributes to the development of sustainable nanomaterial fabrication approaches and the exploration of environmentally benign alternatives in nanoscience.
In recognition of her scientific contributions, she received the Global Academic Research Excellence Award for “Excellence in Research” in 2023. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous national and international conferences, presenting her work on nanoscience, green chemistry, and biomedical applications. Her strong scientific communication skills have led to invitations for Special speaker and also serve as a Scientific Community Member at prestigious academic events, including the “Annual International Congress on Nanoscience & Nanotechnology,” to be held in Oxford, United Kingdom (April 24–25, 2025). In the “8th Edition of the World Nanotechnology Conference” (March 18–20, 2024), also invited as a Speaker for oral presentation.
She has published several research papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her commitment to rigorous scientific methodology, innovation, and meaningful scholarly contribution.
In 2020, she was awarded the National Fellowship for Persons with Disabilities (NFPwD), disbursed by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, through the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. This distinguished fellowship has supported her research pursuits and stands as evidence of her academic excellence and perseverance.
