Dr. Nabin Yadav is a distinguished medical pharmacologist, educator, and researcher whose academic brilliance and scientific contributions span radiological sciences, cancer pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, and oxidative stress research. With a career built on consistent academic excellence, impactful research, and dedicated teaching across multiple medical disciplines, Dr. Yadav stands out as a dynamic medical scientist committed to improving therapeutic outcomes and advancing medical education.
Dr. Yadav began his academic journey with a B.Sc. in Radiography from the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Belagavi, under KLE University. Throughout every academic year, he secured the highest marks, a testament to his dedication, discipline, and intellectual drive. In recognition of this exceptional performance, he was awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal from KLE University, the university’s most prestigious honor for academic distinction. His early training in radiological sciences provided him with a strong clinical foundation and a unique perspective on diagnostic medicine, which later enriched his pharmacological research.
Pursuing his growing interest in biomedical science and drug mechanisms, Dr. Yadav completed his M.Sc. in Medical Pharmacology at JSS Medical College, JSS AHER, Mysuru, one of India’s leading research-focused institutions. Once again, he demonstrated academic excellence by securing the First Rank in the university. His postgraduate research focused on the anticancer activity of phytochemicals extracted from Ailanthus excelsa, evaluated through both in vitro and in vivo experimental models. This work contributed significantly to phytopharmacology and the exploration of natural compounds with chemotherapeutic potential. His research sharpened his expertise in experimental oncology, cell culture techniques, animal studies, and molecular mechanisms underlying cancer drug action.
Driven by a deep commitment to translational and patient-centered research, Dr. Yadav pursued a PhD in Medical Pharmacology at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), Dehradun. His doctoral work focused on Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN)—a major dose-limiting and quality-of-life–affecting complication in cancer treatment. His research integrated pharmacogenomics, neurophysiology, and biochemical analysis to explore the mechanisms behind neuropathy development. Specifically, he investigated the role of NOX4 gene expression and its association with vitamin D deficiency, vitamin B12, homocysteine, and oxidative stress biomarkers. His findings provided new insights into personalized cancer treatment and highlighted the molecular pathways that predispose certain individuals to severe neuropathy during chemotherapy.
Throughout his scientific career, Dr. Yadav has maintained a strong publication record with over 10 peer-reviewed research papers in reputable national and international journals. He is also the holder of one patent, reflecting his innovative approach and capacity to translate laboratory findings into potential therapeutic interventions. His research contributions span anticancer phytochemicals, free-radical biology, neurotoxicity, personalized medicine, and oxidative stress, making him a versatile researcher with broad scientific impact.
In addition to his research achievements, Dr. Yadav has established himself as a committed and inspiring teacher. During his M.Sc. program, he gained early teaching experience by instructing MBBS, BDS, allied health sciences, and M.Sc. Clinical Embryology students, strengthening his skills in medical pedagogy. His ability to simplify complex pharmacological concepts, integrate clinical relevance, and encourage analytical thinking has earned him appreciation from students and colleagues alike.
Dr. Yadav’s professional teaching career formally began at Saraswati Medical College, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, where he served as a Tutor and later Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology. His tenure there allowed him to mentor undergraduate medical students, contribute to curriculum development, and support departmental academic activities. Seeking broader responsibilities and academic leadership, he later joined the World College of Medical Sciences & Research, Jhajjar, Haryana, where he served as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology. In this role, he played a key part in strengthening departmental research culture, guiding students in project work, and conducting integrated teaching sessions across clinical and preclinical departments.
Currently, Dr. Yadav continues his academic journey at his present institute, where he remains deeply involved in teaching, research, mentoring, and clinical–academic collaborations. His multidisciplinary background—from radiography and imaging sciences to experimental pharmacology and genomics—gives him a unique ability to approach medical education with both clinical insight and scientific depth.
Dr. Nabin Yadav’s professional identity is shaped by academic excellence, innovative research, and a sincere dedication to student learning. His journey reflects a blend of perseverance, scientific curiosity, and a passion for improving patient care through evidence-based pharmacology. With a strong foundation in research and teaching, complemented by continuous academic achievements, Dr. Yadav remains a dynamic contributor to the fields of medical science and medical education.
