Dr. Anakha Ashok is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a strong interest in surgical oncology, trauma care, and the integration of emerging technologies into clinical practice. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at I.T.S Dental College, Hospital and Research Centre, Greater Noida, followed by her postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at SRM Dental College, Chennai. Since then, she has been actively involved in both academic and clinical practice, gaining extensive experience in managing trauma, maxillofacial pathologies, and reconstructive procedures.
Over the past three years, Dr. Anakha has combined her clinical responsibilities with research, focusing on complex maxillofacial conditions including cysts and tumors of the jaws. Beyond her clinical work, she is passionate about exploring the role of artificial intelligence in surgery, particularly in imaging and surgical planning, and aims to contribute to the development of affordable AI-based tools for maxillofacial applications. With a keen interest in expanding her surgical expertise and pursuing global opportunities, she believes in the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and compassion in patient care.
