I’m Dr. Aishwarya Sharma, a final-year MD Pharmacology resident who enjoys exploring how science, research, and technology can work together to improve healthcare. At my core, I am curious and enjoy learning, especially when it helps me understand people and solve real-world problems in medicine.
My training in pharmacology has given me a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine, therapeutics, research design, and scientific writing. I genuinely enjoy the process of studying how drugs work, analysing data carefully, and trying to make sense of patterns that can support better clinical decisions. Research, for me, is less about big milestones and more about thinking clearly, questioning assumptions, and contributing whatever small part I can to the scientific process.
Over time, I’ve become strongly interested in the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. I see AI as a tool that can support clinicians, make decisions safer, and help personalise treatments. As a wing leader of DoctorsAI, I moderate community discussions, journal clubs, and knowledge-sharing sessions that help doctors understand AI in a practical way. I enjoy this work because it creates a space for learning together, without hierarchy or complexity.
I’m also very drawn to longevity and preventive health, especially the idea of improving healthspan, not just lifespan. I enjoy reading and learning about metabolic health, sleep physiology, HRV, and simple lifestyle markers that influence long-term well-being.
My long-term goal is to build a career that blends clinical pharmacology, research, technology, and preventive health. I want to keep learning, contribute meaningfully where I can, and be part of the evolving future of healthcare in a grounded, human-centered way.
