I have completed my Bachelors of Physiotherapy from MGM School of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai, affiliated to MGM Institute of Health Sciences in the year 2014.
I pursued Master of Physiotherapy (MPTh) in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Terna Physiotherapy College, Navi Mumbai, affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) in the year 2017. I have secured 1st Rank in Terna Physiotherapy College, Navi Mumbai and received an award for academic excellence. I am pursuing my Interdisciplinary PhD for Health Profession Education.
Experience:
I have 4 years’ clinical experience as a consultant Physiotherapist at Physio Heal Physiotherapy Clinic, Under Guidance of Dr. Neera Chadha (Ex HOD BARC Hospital, Mumbai) Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
I have been working as an Assistant Professor at MGM School of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai since October 2017. I have been working as an Associate Professor at MGM School of Physiotherapy Navi Mumbai since August 2023.
On clinical aspect I am currently the clinical in charge for the Musculoskeletal in patient department and the clinical coordinator for MGM School of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai.
In terms of student training, I am actively involved in training of undergraduate and postgraduate students in courses of Electrotherapy, Kinesiology, Functional Diagnosis and Physiotherapeutic Skills, Musculoskeletal and Hand Physiotherapy.
I have guided various undergraduate and post graduate projects. C
My administrative roles at the level of the Constituent unit include being member Secretary of Student Welfare committee and In-charge of NAAC criteria V at MGM School of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai. I am currently a member of the Board of Studies (BOS) and the Examination committee at MGM School of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai.
My administrative roles at the University level include being a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) I am the Coordinator of Chapter 5 of Alumni Association of MGM Institute of Health Sciences.
Research Interests:
My Research Interests include rehabilitation of people with disorders of the Musculoskeletal system with an increased focus on the Upper Quadrant.
Another area of Research interest includes Health Profession Education.
