I Dr Shyamala having qualifications of MD(Microbiology), DNB(Laboratory medicine), Fellowship on Infectious diseases from Queensland, Australia having a accomplished and dedicated profession with 11 years of extensive experience in the field of Microbiology, coupled with significant expertise in Hospital Infection Control officer. Beside deep understanding of microbial pathogenesis, diagnostics and antimicrobial resistance, i have been instrumental in developing, implementing and monitoring infection prevention and monitoring infection prevention and control programs, risk assessments, surveillance strategies and implementation of evidence based practices. I have the ability to work collectively with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, nurses and administrative staffs to achieve common goals of patient safety and quality care.
I have 15 publications in various indexed journal, crossed one hundred citations on research gate and I am a reviewer of indexed journals. Exhibited special interest on nanoparticles, anti microbial resistance, HIV and leptospirosis. Had received a gold medal for presentation at National seminar on nanotechnology.
