My name is Dr. Baskar, and my specialty is Siddha Pharmacology. I am an MD (Siddha) graduate. Presently employed at Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai as a lecturer. At the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai, I am working toward a PhD in diabetes mellitus. I would like to conduct research in the field of Siddha pharmacology. My research pieces have been published in reputable journals.
I completed a doctoral study on diabetes mellitus using Madhumukthi Kudineer Chooranum as a new siddha trail medication. For many years, MKC, a polyherbal Siddha compound, has been used in traditional practices. MKC has demonstrated excellent pharmacological activity against diabetes mellitus in the study. Because it is readily available, reasonably priced, and has no negative side effects, this medication will be used to treat diabetes. Using an animal model, toxicity tests demonstrated that it is safe to consume over an extended period of time. The outcomes have been published in reputable journals. I am fortunate that my work earned me the Best Researcher honor. Thank you to the ISSN team for choosing my project.
