The internet is filled with videos and pictures of animals doing incredible things to survive in the wild. These videos are extremely fascinating and instantly go viral.
One such video was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda on Twitter today. The clip was originally shared by Latest Sightings, which documents various animal sightings at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
The officer posted the clip with the caption, “Elephant use branch of a tree to scare away an angry Rhino. Elephants use parts of trees as tools. Here it sends a strong signal to the rhino. Go away or will throw you like the branch. The hint was enough.”
The clip shows two elephants walking in the wild, as they come across an angry rhino. To scare away the animal, the elephant, who is leading, puts a stick on its head. However, the stick suddenly falls. After this, the rhino immediately starts charging towards the elephants. But it comes to a halt after the elephant picks up the stick again and throws it in the rhino’s direction. After which the rhino runs away.
As soon as the IFS officer shared the clip, it went viral and was viewed by netizens over 11k times. Many took to the comments section to express their views about the clip.
